Long tang extending down the back of the butt, covered with a silver niello panel and bearing an Arabic inscription, characteristic lock with circular maker's mark and an Arabic inscription on the lower left of the mainspring, wooden full stock entirely covered with deep chased silver niello decoration consisting of flower heads and foliage against a stippled ground, the ovoid pommel decorated ensuite and bordered with beadwork ensuite with the border decoration of the lock-plate, barrel tang and false ram-rod.
