The above offered lot is a fine example of the simple large corseted vessel with round base and everted top lip. The vessel shows signs of it's utilitarian function with the clouds of smoke enveloping the body. A similar piece sold at Artemis Gallery, Louisville, CO, May 21, 2015, lot #41A.
