Chinese Export Porcelain Sauce Boat, a Plate, and a China Trade Side Plate
The sauce boat decorated in blue and white in the Chinese taste, the plate decorated in the style of French faience pottery, the side plate made for the Wheelwright Family of Newburyport, Massachusetts.
The sauce boat 7 in. high.
Note: A similar example of the China Trade side plate is in the Daniel and Serga Nadler Collection of Chinese Export Porcelain, Winterthur Museum, Delaware.
p>Condition
Each with minor wear and in good condition. The sauce boat with a nick to spout and firing frit. The plate with knife marks to the field, wear to the gilding and a few minor areas of restoration to the rim. The side plate with minor wear.
Not withstanding this report or any discussion concerning condition of a lot, all lots are offered and sold "as is" in accordance with our conditions of sale.
Collection from Stair
We are open for pickups Monday through Friday, from 9:30am to 12pm and again from 1pm to 4:30pm.
We ask that you collect your items or make collection arrangements within 10 days of your purchase.
We suggest requesting a quote for packing and shipping prior to bidding on an item, as you will be responsible for collection or shipping if you are the successful bidder.
