Note: This service with the crest and motto of Martin of Gibliston in Fifeshire, Scotland, is illustrated by a dish in the first volume of Chinese Armorial Porcelain, p.617, by David Sanctuary Howard (published 1974). An image of this plate will be used in an upcoming new edition of the work.
