5 x 5 x 8 in. Note: The turtle is a symbol of the North in Chinese mythology and is one of the animals of the four directions (North, South, East, West). The turtle is usually represented intertwined with a snake in China, it is borrowed in Japanese mythology and is represented with a bushy tail known as 'minogame'. It is reputed to live a thousand years and is emblematic of longevity. The turtle is atop a pile of coins symbolizing wealth and prosperity. The coin is one of the 'Eight Treasures', the square hole in the middle reflects the view of earth surrounded by the heavens as a circle.
