Etching in black on wove paper, circa 1963, signed and titled in pencil, numbered 12/25. 8 3/8 x 5 3/4 in. (sheet), 11 1/2 x 10 in. (frame).
Note: Brice Marden and Earl McGrath were close friends who shared a mutual respect for each other and for creative activity. McGrath showed Marden's work in his gallery in the mid-1990s and they remained very close until Earl's death. This rare etching is one of Marden's first works in the medium.
