Two silhouettes with pencil or wash on paper, 1831 and 1834 respectively, both signed 'Aug. Edouart' and dated lower left. 11 x 14 in. (sight), 16 x 19 in. (frame) and 12 1/2 x 18 1/2 in. (sight), 15 1/2 x 21 1/2 in. (frame). Condition: Neither of the works have been examined out of the frame. The 1831 work with a stain to the central boy's head and another near the top of the sheet. The 1834 work with a light scratch or line near the seated figure's head, otherwise scattered foxing and staining to the background. The frames with overall wear, nicks and losses. The black frame with a large loss to bottom.
