Four cut-paper silhouettes laid down on paper, each stamped with the Edouart mark, and the reverse of each identified in ink and dated 1829, 1830, 1831 or 1834, sitters include Mrs. Sevester, Miss D. Viner and Mr. James Small. 11 3/4 x 9 in. (sheet), two 13 1/2 x 6 1/2 in. (sheet), and 13 7/8 x 9 7/8 in. (sheet).Provenance: Two female silhouettes and one male silhouette: Sold Sotheby Parke Bernet, New York, November 16-18, 1978, Lot 444.
