Watercolor on paper on a paper mount, inscribed 'M.M. Van Os' on the mount, variously inscribed on the reverse and under the image on the mount. 16 1/2 x 12 1/2 in. (sheet), 20 1/2 x 16 in. (mount), 24 1/2 x 20 in. (frame). Note: Maria Van Os was the daughter of painters Jan Van Os and Susanna de la Croix. Like her three artist brothers, she was a pupil of her parents and became known for her fruit and flower still lifes.,
