Oil on canvas, unsigned, inscribed 'Owned by Amos Little/Made by/Frederick Bosley 1920' on the reverse. 36 x 29 in., 42 1/2 x 35 1/2 in. (frame).Note: Captain Luther Little was a native of Marshfield, MA and served as a Captain during several naval expeditions and Revolutionary war battles. Artist Frederick Andrew Bosley was born in Lebanon, NH and moved to Boston in 1900 to attend the Boston Museum School. He lived for most of his adult life in Concord, MA.
