Comprising a set of five chairs with plain back splats, of 18th Century date; a pair of chairs with pierced marquetry back splats, and three similar chairs, each with an undulating top rail above the vase-shaped back splat; five inlaid with shell and strapwork with marquetry panels, above the drop seat, raised on cabriole legs with pad feet, joined by a stretcher, one lacking seat, five chairs are period; together with two other with marquetry backrests of the period and three are later in date.
