65 x 40 in., 67 x 42 in. (frame).
Note: Nicaraguan-born painter Armando Morales is considered one of Central America's most esteemed artists. After marrying in 1964, Morales and his wife moved to Spain, and then New York. His 1971 exhibition at Galeria Bonino in New York introduced the American art world to his work through a suite of stunning nudes (see lot 247). Morales and his family returned to Central America in 1976, settling in Costa Rica and working in Mexico City. His later work was shown in a series of exhibitions in Paris at the Galerie Claude Bernard.
