The club was the most happening and glamorous nightclub and social scene in New York City in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Andy Warhol was a frequent patron, as were the McGraths and their circle of jet set friends. This oversized complimentary drinks ticket was made by Warhol in several different versions and sizes. It is a classic tongue-in-cheek nod to the free-drinks-tickets that were coveted and given out to famous guests at the club. Warhol incorporated the original Studio 54 logo into his design.
