Four full and two partial printed stickers on backing paper, 1967, with the Estate of Andy Warhol stamp on the reverse.
15 x 13 in. (sheet), unframed.
Note: These stickers were made for the release of The Velvet Underground's debut album, The Velvet Underground & Nico. Warhol was a producer on the album and designed the album cover. The bananas were applied to the album cover and then meant to be peeled back to reveal a pale pink banana beneath. It is rare to find the bananas still intact on their original backing.
