With rubbed mark 'NR', possibly N. Roosevelt, New York, with scalloped rim, s-scroll handle and shell-backed shell feet; the boat marked 'W. G. + S.' for William Gale and Son, New York, inscribed with initials and 'December 6th 1850', and with gadroon and egg and dart foot. 2 1/8 and 5 3/8 by 4 3/4 and 5 1/2 in., 8.65 oz.
