27 x 20 1/2 in. (sheet), 26 1/2 x 19 1/2 in. (sight), 34 x 27 in. (frame).
Note: This poster is from a series of twenty-eight made by Rodchenko to illustrate the history of the Communist Party and Bolshevik uprisings. The images and newspaper clipping here describe the uprisings in 1905 and 1906.
Provenance: Sold Sotheby's, New York, March 10, 1994, Lot 195A.
The sheet taped to the overmat with brown paper tape around the reverse of the sheet edges. Horizontal and vertical creases where previously folded. Other creasing, surface soiling and pale staining on the reverse.
