Ink and wash with red chalk on paper, unsigned, with the Nathaniel Hone (Lugt 2793), Sir Joshua Reynolds (Lugt 2364) and P. Crozat (Lugt 474) collectors' marks lower right and on the reverse of the mount, inscribed 'Mateo Roselli 23' lower center.

5 7/8 x 8 1/2 in. (sheet), 13 x 14 in. (frame).

Condition

Sheet tipped to a paper mount and with attendant glue staining showing through from the reverse. Scattered foxing and staining. A small made-up loss and a tiny tear at the left sheet edge.Not withstanding this report or any discussion concerning condition of a lot, all lots are offered and sold "as is" in accordance with our conditions of sale.
