Note: American Modernist sculptor Albert W. Wein is known for his large-scale public works including the large granite bas-relief work on the Libby Dam in Montana and his design of the Penguin House for the Bronx Zoo. His smaller-scale works, as here, exemplify the Art Deco style he was known for.
