Note: This mixed media work by Oehlen references Martin Kippenberger's collage titled Kaputtes Kind (Broken Child), also from 1985. Along with Georg Herold, Gunter Forg and others, both Oehlen and Kippenberger were part of a group of German enfants terribles in the 1980s and 90s who worked in a variety of styles and media, producing works that were provocative and reflective.
