Steel, 1968, stamped 'Picasso' and dated '8/21/68-1' lower right 46 x 30 x 21 in. Note: The monumental Picasso sculpture known as The Chicago Picasso was commissioned by the architects of the Richard J. Daley Center in 1963 and dedicated in 1967. The sculpture was the first major public artwork in downtown Chicago and has become a well-known landmark. The maquette for the original sculpture is in the collection of The Art Institute of Chicago.,
