Engraving on wove paper laid down on paper; together with After Jacobus Houbraken (1698-1780): Portrait of a Gentleman, engraving on wove paper, published in Amsterdam; and French School: Prise de la Bastille, engraving with hand-coloring on laid paper. Dame 11 1/2 x 12 1/2 in. (sheet), 20 1/2 x 23 in. (frame); Gentleman 14 3/4 x 9 1/2 in. (sight), 24 x 17 3/4 in. (frame); and Bastille 10 3/4 x 14 3/4 in. (sight), 17 1/4 x 21 1/4 in. (frame). Condition: Dame- few tiny tears at the sheet edges; tack holes at the upper sheet corners; scattered foxing; surface soiling; not examined out of frame. Gentleman- a few foxmarks; some surface soiling; not examined out of frame. Bastille- a few tears at the sheet edges; tears with losses at bottom sheet edge; a crease at upper right and left sheet corners; foxing and surface soiling throughout.,
