Bronze, unmarked. 17 7/8 x 9 3/4 x 6 1/4 in. Note: Eustache de Saint Pierre is one of the six figures in Rodin's monumental work Les Bourgeois de Calais. The work was commissioned by the city of Calais to commemorate the seige of the city during the Hundred Year's War. By French Law, only twelve cast of Rodin's work could be made. The first cast from 1895 is in Calais. Later casts from 1903-1955 stand in various museums including the Museé Rodin, Paris and the Hirshhorn Museum, Washington, DC.,
