15 3/4 x 19 in. (sight), 26 x 29 1/2 in. (frame).

Note: Crème Brulée was a chestnut colt bred and raced by Lord Astor. The scene here is thought to be the paddock at Salisbury to commemorate the winning of the Salisbury Cup in 1933. The original painting of this image was sold at Sotheby's, London, in 2004.

With margins. Pale mat staining. Otherwise apparently in good condition. Not examined out of frame. Not withstanding this report or any discussion concerning condition of a lot, all lots are offered and sold "as is" in accordance with our conditions of sale.
