Two mixed media on paper, 1935, with various inscriptions, one with an inkstamp. Both 20 x 13 in. (sight), 21 x 14 in. (frame).Note: A Barcarolle is a folk song sung by Venetian gondoliers. One of the most famous is Jacques Offenbach's Belle Nuit, ô nuit d'amour from his opera The Tales of Hoffmann.
